Joe Doran
Founder/CEO

Prior to Media6°, Joe spent 9 years at Microsoft in a variety of senior roles including Chief of Staff at MSN and, from 2003 to 2008, General Manager of Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions. In this position Joe was responsible for product management for all advertising products and technologies at Microsoft (including Microsoft AdCenter, Microsoft PubCenter, the Display Ad Platform, Massive, and AdECN, among others) as well as serving as the lead spokesperson for advertising technology and solutions at Microsoft. As General Manager, Joe set the broad strategic direction for the advertising business and also led Microsoft’s acquisition and integration strategy for the many advertising based businesses purchased by Microsoft including Massive, ScreenTonic, DeepMetrix, AdECN and aQuantive.

Prior to Microsoft, Joe was at General Mills in brand management and before that a Captain in the United States Army, 7th Infantry Division.

David Honig
Founder

David Honig is the Co-Founder of Media6°, managing day-to-day media operations along with educating marketers on the power of building their own customized social graph.

David is frequently published in media publications such as ClickZ, WebProNews and Mediapost, and is also the Behavioral Focus Contributor for OMMA Magazine.

An online advertising veteran with more than 11 years in the industry, David came to Media6° from Didit, where he was Vice President, Media. In his role at DidIt, David created SearchConnect an integrated media platform that combined impact of Search and Display advertising with retargeting. The product won the ClickZ Marketing Echo Excellence Award in 2003 for Best Behavioral Targeting Personalization Technology.

Prior to Didit, David was the Vice president, business Development at Admarketplace.net which powered the Ebaykeywords program. While there, he established strategic partnerships with top industry brands such as EBay, Procter & Gamble and leading online ad networks such as Advertising.com.

David started his online career at DoubleClick where he spent 4 years at various sales and management roles of increasing responsibility, managing relationship with key clients such as AT&T, Nextel, American Express and the New York Times.

David holds a B.S. in Business/Marketing from The Ohio State University.

Kathy Leake
Founder

Kathy Leake has 18 years of advertising experience with 13 years in interactive and 5 years in traditional advertising. She was most recently Global Vice President of Business Development at Agency.com and was responsible for generating 30-35% of the company’s top-line revenue—driving revenue to offices globally: New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Milan. Under her leadership, the sales team brought in multiple top tier clients and consistently exceeded their sales targets. Clients included: Del Monte, CNN, Maidenform, Energizer, Ask.com, Food Network, Choice Hotels, Marriott, Barclays, Heineken and Nestle.

Prior to Agency.com, Kathy worked at Red Sky Interactive in San Francisco running business development and marketing. She also worked at one of the industry’s first online site representation firms, WebRep. While at WebRep, Kathy headed a division that worked to invent new models of online advertising, growth strategies, integrated online advertising opportunities and provided strategic direction to web site clients on commercial viability.

Kathy started her career in traditional advertising at DDB Needham in media planning for the Entertainment Group and was responsible for budgets of $120 million a year. She also worked at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide in the Czech Republic.

Lewis Steckler
Director of Strategy and Business Development

Prior to Media6°, Lewis worked for Sony BMG, Bain & Company, Qtrax and Informatica in a variety of strategic and business development roles. Lewis is a passionate student of social psychology, social network theory, continental philosophy, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. His strategic, financial, partnership and negotiation skills support the successful application of social network theory to Internet advertising industry best practices. Lewis is a graduate of Stanford University, where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and worked at the Center for Interdisciplinary Brain Sciences Research. Alec Greenberg
Director, Media Operations

Alec is a seasoned advertising operations veteran with eight years in the online advertising space. Alec began his ad ops career with Monster Worldwide, where he helped to build the relocation portals Monstermoving.com and Moving.com. After Monster, Alec spent time at Bluestreak, the Feedroom, and aCerno where he directed the team responsible for managing hundreds of campaigns across dozens of top-tier media relationships. At Media6°, Alec works with clients to optimize campaign to meet their marketing goals. Alec is a graduate of Purchase College with a BA degree in Arts Management. Mia Simonsen
Director of Strategic Partnerships

Mia Simonsen has 13 years of experience working in the Internet advertising industry both in New York and Denmark, her native country, focusing on online sales, marketing and business development.

Prior to joining Media6°, Mia was Director of Business Development for Click Feel Media in New York, responsible for consumer acquisition, ad network growth and building new partnerships. Using analytics and relationship fine-tuning, Mia optimized network performance, increasing overall network revenue and tripled the network size in under two years. She has extensive experience working with advertisers and publishers, creating and trafficking Internet niche portals, building affiliate programs and leading the implementation and teams thereof.

Mia started her Internet career in her native Denmark, constructing, launching and running the tele-text platform and interface for the first commercial Scandinavian television broadcasting station TV 3.
