Summary: Under limited supervision, perform system administration and planning for all aspects of company’s IT infrastructure. Suitable candidate must bring in reliable, durable and cost-effective solutions for all IT-related needs.
Duties and Responsibilities: Manage networks & admin of computers in Red Hat Enterprise Linux/Centos; direct migration & consolidation of systems to different data centers; supervise support of MySQL & SQL servers; manage installation & implementation of plone for intranet, RT tracking sys, subversion, bugzilla; direct config of nStor SAN sys; manage optimization of sys & services; manage Cisco Gear & setup of site-to-site VPN; architect & provision infrastructure for next generation products; negotiate & manage contracts w/ISPs & IT vendors; establish & implement info sys policies; manage development of sys plans.
Qualifications
- Use UNIX, Linux, FreeBSD, BSDI, Apache, Tomcat, postfix, Sendmail, POP3, WAN/LAN, IBM EXP 400, Nstor SAN
- MS Degree Computer Science or Engineering
- Six months experience in above job duties
